The French Open is just around the corner and we are excited to launch some new features to enhance your bracket challenge experience!

Hello Tennis Fans!

Get ready! The final stretch before the French Open is here, and what a season it’s been already! Following the successful launch of Brckt during the Australian Open, I’ve been thrilled by the organic growth and can’t wait to get it up and running again.

Your feedback has been invaluable, and while the to-do list is longer than Novak Djokovic’s trophy cabinet (99 and counting!), there’s been a lot of hard work implementing some key improvements since Melbourne.

Here’s a look at what’s new for the French Open on Brckt:

New Features

  • Men’s and Women’s Bracket Challenges It was great to hear that there is such a strong appetite for women’s tournament to be supported on the site. This is something that I wanted to implement asap but didn’t know what was going to happen for the Australian Open to support it right away. Now that the site is live and some unknowns are known you will be able to crown champions for both draws!

  • AI Analysis, Player & Match Statistics I’m realizing all of these new features deserve their own blog post but we are going to jam pack it into this one. For the French Open users will be able to do their research and analysis directly from the site. This comes with the ability to have AI analyze the match for you through the form of an AI agent. This agent is a custom built AI application that specializes in tennis. It’s capacity and knowledge will continue to grow with the site and the sport. This comes along with the ability to compare players, head-to-head matches, and career stats.

  • Public and Private Groups Want to compete only against your friends? Or see how your bracket stacks up against the wider Brckt community? Now you can! Create either public or private groups at the start of the tournament and challenge who you want.

  • Pick Counter With so many matches to predict in a 128-player draw, it’s easy to miss a pick. The new pick counter will help you keep track of your selections, ensuring you’ve filled out your bracket completely for the best chance to win!

  • Updated Mobile Experience Navigating the mobile site with a 128 player draw has been a labor of love but is now in it’s best form to date. Scroll down with sticky round headers at the top, and swipe left and right to filter by round.

As always I love feedback so is there is something you’d like to see please reach out! Stay tuned as the roll out for the French Open continues!
